Who we are looking for

You want to develop your development craftsmanship and learn how to convert this into good software. You will follow relevant IT trends and be eager to develop a deeper understanding of programming. You share new insights with your colleagues in knowledge and brainstorming sessions. With your good communication skills you know how to help your colleagues further. In this way you contribute to the renewal of our products! And of course you recognize yourself in our core values.

You also have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics or any other relevant study. You are at the start of your career or have just started
  • Experience with C# or .NET or JAVA
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written
  • Experience with Angular is an advantage.

What we offer

We offer you a challenging job in which you work as a software developer on the development of our rating system Ortax. This software is currently used to calculate the value of more than 4 million homes in the Netherlands. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that OrtaX is in continuous improvement.

You will work with C#, REST, Angular and Typescript. You will be part of a team of about 8 people with other developers, a tester and an analyst. It is a fun, young team that likes to work with the latest techniques. We stand for quality and find it important to work together, not at the expense of each other. Together we design and develop the changes in the software. Your contribution is essential in this. We work partly in the office and also online. This can be arranged flexibly.

In the Scrum Team we work together on the sprint goal. You will participate in meetings such as the Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Retrospective and Sprint Review. You work independently on software changes. We coordinate and review each other's work to find the best solutions. At the end sprint we added value for the customer again. Because with OrtaX, Ortec Finance offers a complete solution for the implementation of the WOZ act by municipalities. OrtaX combines a leading valuation model with an intuitive user interface that values WOZ objects in an efficient, reliable and transparent manner
