HR Consultant

Your job

Be the engine that powers TSS Blue Head Office for 50 employees in the Netherlands. You will interact with employees and their managers to enable our people to maximize their performance and potential. Use your unique talents and ideas to help them tackle the people fit for future challenges. Working in this independent role you will touch upon almost every HR topic. You will be the first to contact employees during recruitment, onboarding, illness, payrolling, engagement, attrition, and the performance cycle. You will report to the Senior HR Business Partner of the TSS Blue Group.

Examples are:

• Answer employee inquiries and complaints and create a positive employee experience.
• Troubleshoot employee issues, resulting in recommendations and solutions.
• Recruitment of new employees in the Netherlands.
• Initiates and advises managers during the Performance Management cycle.
• Execute payroll with correct data with an external vendor who takes care of auditing for payment accuracy.
• Coordinates illness process according to Dutch legislation (poortwachter).
• Effective administration of employee documentation throughout their TSS journey including, but not limited to; onboarding, contract management, leave management, job changes, and offboarding.
• Ensure accuracy of employee data while remaining compliant with GDPR.
• Ensure operational processes, procedures and policies are properly documented, kept up to date, and uploaded to the applicable systems.
• Ensures data gathering from other countries in the international environment on the global total rewards process.
• Manages improvement HR projects around digitalizing HR processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational excellence, and automation to minimize non-value add tasks and scale-up for rapid growth.
• Ensure that the employee manual is positively experienced and HR Intranet pages are up-to-date in relation to Dutch Law.
• Ensure and communicate with external parties on for example Payroll, Fleet support, Health and Safe.

Your background

• You hold a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Human Resources, Management, or other studies.
• You are willing to gain experience in an international work environment software firm in the field of Human Resources.
• You possess a continuously improving, solution-driven, hands-on mentality, are communicative, take ownership of smoothly running our HR processes, and can keep track of different activities.
• You’re able to work with multiple teams and colleagues from various backgrounds, levels, and disciplines.
• You have the ability to work independently, but also a proven ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• You have the basic knowledge of Dutch laws, regulations, employment law guidelines and policies.
• You’re able to communicate in the Dutch and English language at a minimum.
